Effective Talent Acquisition and Retention Programming

On May 10, 2022, the Mid-Atlantic Submarine Training (MAST) Pipeline Program presented on their programming to develop effective talent acquisition and retention systems for small and medium-size manufacturers in the submarine shipbuilding supply chain.  

The New England Submarine Shipbuilding Supply Chain has a need to grow and retain their workforce
  • Necessary to meet the construction demands for the Virginia- and Columbia-class submarines
  • A majority of industry partners have identified retention as a critical issue for their workforce (as noted in the March Partnership Survey)
Mid-Atlantic Submarine Training (MAST) Pipeline Program supports the creation and sustainment of a maritime and defense industrial base focused on talent acquisition and retention
  • Enabling employers to re-capitalize their workforce through recruiting, training, and retaining skilled workforce members.
