On August 14, 2024, the Partnership held its Summer 2024 Quarterly Meeting, bringing industry suppliers and stakeholders together to network and share information on programs and resources.

SENEDIA highlighted the period of performance extension for its agreement with the Department of Defense through the end of 2024. This extension will support SENEDIA in continuing to convene the partnership, as well as to provide funding for various programs run under the Partnership.

General Dynamics Electric Boat provided a brief overview of the Hire Hartford initiative and its workforce development goals (More on the Hire Hartford initiative below). BlueForge Alliance provided insights on both BuildSubmarines.com and CareersBuiltToLast.com, a new resource to help grow the next generation workforce.

The MIT Leap Group and Manufacturing at MIT presented their new program, the Technologist Advanced Manufacturing Program (TechAMP), which will provide training and resources for manufacturers looking to connect their production and engineering staff to optimize their production facility.
